About

Tweelert is a little windows application designed to alert you via twitter when any of the configured alarms trigger.
Wanting an application that could:
Tell me when CPU load dropped below 90% to signify batch job completion
Notify when a particular process had died
Notify when subdirectories or files in a nominated folder had changed, for torrents.
I decided to write Tweelert to meet these needs.
I have coded the application with privacy in mind, the application stores the twitter password only in the windows registry, and uses it only to communicate directly with the Twitter API. The sending and recipient account do not have to be the same, so you have the option of creating an account purposely for sending from Tweelert, so you don’t even have to enter your regular Twitter username and password if you so wish.
Installation
Download the installer and click through the options as with any standard windows installer.
Freeware
Tweelert is released as freeware and as such you are welcome to download it and use it on as many computers as you wish without any need for purchase or licensing. I would however ask that if you decide to provide the file for download on your own site, that you provide a courtesy link back to this page.

For info on updates etc about the software, please follow the twitter user @Tweealert which I will use for sending out information about the application. Feedback can also be sent via that account if you like.
