Wedding photos – First dance, and first bounce!

One quick update from the wedding pics I’ve been working on tonight, so I thought I’d add in something you don’t get to see every day like the Bride and Groom on a bouncy castle! There was a bouncy castle which was meant to be there to keep the kids entertained, but as you’d probably expect it wasn’t long before they were evicted so the adults could have a play.

Photography favourites of 2010

2010 has been a busy year for photography for me, and I’ve especially been trying to widen my range of subjects. 2009 I shot mostly urban exploration, in fact over 75% of the shots that I took were taken in derelicts, so I went in to 2010 determined to try and broaden my horizons somewhat. I thought I would collect together my top 10 favourite shots of the year, across a number of different subject genres / topics.

Launched my new photography business

After taking photographs for a few years as a hobby, and doing weddings for friends etc, I’ve decided to make a bit of a business of it.
Operating with a couple of friends, I’ve spent most of this week pulling together the site for the new business, so if you’re looking for a Newcastle Wedding Photographer , someone to do a shoot with your family or perhaps some portrait shots for yourself then go to the site and have a look at our portfolio and packages :)

Gemma & Shaun’s Cyprus Wedding

Two good friends of mine, Gemma & Shaun, got married in Cyprus in October. As well as inviting me to the wedding, they asked if I wouldn’t mind doing the photos as well, which I was obviously more than happy to help out with.
The wedding was absolutely great, and the entire trip great fun.
