More photo sales for book cover goodness
Nov 17th
Great to get home to find an email waiting saying that I had sold another image to be used as a book cover. Another one from Quintin Jardine, which makes it a hat trick now for that author alone. He’s also an extremely great writer if you are a fan of the crime / mystery genre, then I’d strongly suggest picking up some of his work (all the better if it’s one of the three with my photo on there!)
You can see a preview of the cover on the right there, and the book can be found on Amazon at:

My photo used on a billboard at Newcastle Central Station
Sep 22nd
Got notified today that the billboard has gone up with my photo on, and sure enough it has. This was taken as per the client spec, as part of an advertising campaign about their sponsorship for many local companies such as the Durham Cricket Club, Theatre Royal, Lit & Phil amongst others.
Great feeling to have one of my pics be the first thing seen as you walk off the train at Newcastle, my home town. Would love it to have been one of my model shoots or an urbex picture, but I’ll get there eventually! For now I’m just really happy that the client loved the pics, and hopefully there will be more from the rest of the campaign going up in various locations.

Another photo sold for book cover
Jun 18th
More good news today, had another one of my images used for a book cover. Really quite happy about this one as it is one of my urbex photos used this time, rather than one of the the more ‘normal’ shots. The shot was taken at Paton’s Mill in Scotland, sadly mostly burned down now. Here is the original image, and the cover sent from the publishers.
Sadly nowhere online that i can see is showing the new cover design yet, but as its just out of design it could take a while to be updated in most places.
The rest of the photos from that photo shoot can be seen in my Paton’s Mill gallery and in case you missed the last book cover post, it can be found here.
