xkcd + Kindle = 727 Kindle Screensavers

If you’ve got an Amazon Kindle, and have jailbroken + added screensaver hack, then you might be interested in one of my recent little projects. I’ve taken all xkcd strips up till today, removed the ones that needed the colour to work or were simply too large to work on the Kindle screen, and turned the rest into screensavers. If you are not familar with xkcd, then you really should head on over to www.xkcd.com and have a read if you are at all into anything geeky, techy, language or maths based then you’re bound to find something there to interest you!

So a friend of mine has made a joke site for a mutual friend of ours, as his joke Christmas present.
I’m trying to link farm a bit and get this site to the top of the google rankings.

Ive been meaning to get round to doing a post collecting together my pranks for a while now, and having just reminded about things making life fun by @carole29, I thought i should finally get round to this post, so here goes:
I was off work on a 6 week sick note, but by the very end i was fit and well and just bored shitless of being in the house. A friend of mine who was a field worker with the company was talking to me on the phone and happened to mention he had a meeting in Glasgow, and an idea sparked. I go to Glasgow regular to visit friends, and i had a key for his house in case he isnt in when i arrive. So i went up in the car with my mate on the way to his meeting, got dropped off at my weegie friend’s house and did this before being picked up again:

A fellow Geordie and twitter user has decided to take on quite a task in the aid of charity, namely to travel around the world (or at least as far as he can manage) using twitter to help him along.
On the 1st of March Paul will leave his home in Newcastle and head out into the wild blue yonder, starting from Newcastle Central station as his blog for the event indicates. Paul will then continue on around the globe, with a hopeful destination of the opposite side of the world in New Zealand, but will restrict himself to offers of accommodation and travel from those kind people on twitter who are following him.
If you want to help out, there are a few ways you can do that:
- Follow him on twitter via @twitchhiker
- Visit twitchhiker.com and learn a bit more about it
- Go and digg the story to help raise awareness.
- Go and upmod it on reddit too.
- Go to the donate page and give anything you can.

My housemate moves to Australia today, and I couldn’t let him go without giving him some kind of leaving present. Now anyone that knows me will already know that I’m a bit of a prank fan so it had to be something with a comedy edge to it, and so i came up with the idea for this:
